Products

Reference products consume shared platform capability and generate evidence.

Each product summary makes purpose, availability, leading value evidence and Platform reuse visible first. Deeper architecture and evidence remain available without overwhelming the portfolio view. Product delivery may generate evidence or candidates for reuse; Platform promotion remains a separate decision.

Evidence-led portfolio

Scan the outcome first. Inspect the engineering detail when it matters.

Product lifecycle, deployment access and value confidence remain independent. Public description never implies public deployment or repository access, and value claims remain explicit about whether they are Measured, Modelled, Estimated or Assumed.

Capability value accrual

Value begins as a hypothesis and advances only when evidence changes.

DoricDev separates expected, delivered, realised, leveraged and strategic value so product activity is not mistaken for benefit. A capability can create additional value later when another initiative reuses it.

DoricDev capability value progression
  1. 01

    Expected

What value do we believe this could create?

A value hypothesis recorded before or during delivery so intent can be tested later.

Evidence expectationClearly labelled hypothesis, estimate or assumption.
  2. 02

    Delivered

What useful capability or outcome now exists?

The product or capability has been implemented and its immediate value can be evidenced.

Evidence expectationRelease, implementation, validation or acceptance evidence.
  3. 03

    Realised

What benefit is being experienced in practice?

Use of the delivered capability has produced an observable operational or user outcome.

Evidence expectationMeasured behaviour, observed outcome or validated qualitative evidence.
  4. 04

    Leveraged

Where has earlier investment created downstream value?

A capability, pattern or evidence set has been reused by another initiative or decision.

Evidence expectationTraceable reuse, avoided duplication or accelerated delivery evidence.
  5. 05

    Strategic

How does accumulated value change future direction?

Repeated evidence and reuse influence portfolio, Platform or Studio-level decisions.

Evidence expectationCross-initiative evidence; never inferred from aspiration alone.

Value can move forward only when new evidence supports the next stage. The model is not an automatic maturity ladder.

Product instances

Access Preview and Operational Instance are separate, deliberate decisions.

DoricDev products may be available at different product lifecycle stages. Platform Portal is currently General Availability; CVOS is currently an Access Preview. Access Preview and Operational Instance are separate concepts — Operational is not a product lifecycle stage, but a separate route the Product Owner may choose to pursue for a specific implementation, requiring its own Product Owner-authorised operationalisation decision.

Access Preview

Safe, synthetic, low-cost, easy to change.

Publicly accessible generic product preview using synthetic, fictional or otherwise safe data — low-cost, simple, portable and easy to change. Proves product value, workflows, usability and features. No implied production, service-level or support commitment; controls apply only to its actual exposure and risk.

Operational Instance

A separate, deliberately authorised route.

Requires a dedicated Product Owner Operationalisation Decision, an accepted Operational Solution Architecture, bounded engineering and assurance, and separate Operational Release, Data Gate and activation decisions. Operational is not a product lifecycle stage.

Current products

Products with accepted public product evidence.

Product records are maintained once in structured data and rendered through a shared summary pattern. Detailed evidence, economic caveats, non-claims, technologies and next proof sit behind each product's own Evidence and boundaries disclosure.

Platform Portal

Dependable reusable product suitable for governed operational implementations, supported according to the product's own documented operational, security and support position.

A static-first public portal that demonstrates DoricDev through implementation quality, curated engineering evidence and platform reuse.

Purpose

Create the public face of DoricDev and provide the first reference implementation of Platform v1.

Leading value evidence

Platform · Delivered · Measured

First product consuming certified DoricDev brand assets, colour standards, typography guidance and spacing tokens.

Demonstrated in the current production Portal build.

Historical Platform evidence surfaced by this product

This is frozen historical Platform-owned evidence from Releases 001–004, not current value authority. Platform Portal surfaces this evidence publicly; it does not own or create it, and it is separate from Platform Portal's own value evidence below.

Value evidence

  • Platform · Delivered · Measured

First product consuming certified DoricDev brand assets, colour standards, typography guidance and spacing tokens.

Demonstrated in the current production Portal build.

  • Capacity · Expected · Assumed

Establish reusable product patterns that reduce repeated setup work for future DoricDev products.

A working hypothesis, not yet evidenced by a second product's adoption.

  • Assurance · Delivered · Measured

GitHub-backed standards and evidence remain traceable alongside implementation.

Demonstrated through this repository's own architecture, validation and release records.

Community Venue Operating System

CVOS

Publicly accessible generic product preview using synthetic, fictional or otherwise safe data — low-cost, simple, portable and easy to change. Proves product value, workflows, usability and features. No implied production, service-level or support commitment; controls apply only to its actual exposure and risk.

The current reusable CVOS product showcase: a calm, browser-first operating workspace with synthetic data, portable local storage and the latest approved reusable product experience.

Purpose

Support relationship, event, invitation, initiative and opportunity management for community-focused operational work.

Leading value evidence

Efficiency · Delivered · Measured

Consolidates organisations, events, opportunities, initiatives and attendee follow-up into one working view.

Evidence and boundaries
Architecture
The public Access Preview is anonymous, synthetic-data only and local-storage based. Personal and Community implementations may use a different runtime profile under the Platform Runtime Boundary Model; a runtime choice does not redefine the reusable product, change its product lifecycle stage or become a Platform-wide standard.
Deployment access
Public

The accepted operational-cloudflare target (Cloudflare Access with MFA, a Pages Functions/Worker boundary and one D1 database) is a separately authorised future operational route. It is not the current deployed CVOS architecture and no CVOS Operational Instance is active.

Delivered · Modelled

The £8,190 / £14,020 / £22,340 range is a Modelled Equivalent Consultancy Capability comparison for the DoricDev CVOS Access Preview; it does not imply an operational release, activation or Data Gate decision, and it is not actual expenditure, a booked saving or demonstrated cost avoidance.

No economic amount is attributed to BrewDog implementation, Runtime Foundation delivery, readiness or governance learning, or Platform capability reuse.
